How far in advance should I place my order?
For larger orders, about two weeks’ notice is recommended. Smaller orders can usually be placed 3–5 days in advance.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to reserve your order date. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due before pickup or delivery.
What area do you deliver to, and is there a delivery fee?
Cupcake Blvd is based in Wilmington, Delaware and delivers to surrounding areas including Newark, New Castle, Chester and parts of Delaware County. Delivery fees are based on distance, typically starting at $10 in Wilmington. Provide your location for a custom quote.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes. Scheduled pickup is available at a designated meetup location in the Wilmington area. Pickup details are coordinated after your order is placed.
Do you offer custom designs or flavors for special events?
Yes. Colors, flavors and fillings can be personalized within Cupcake Blvd’s decorating specialty. Detailed cartoon characters are not offered, but colors, patterns and unique flavor combinations can be customized around your vision.
How should I store my cupcakes or cake?
Refrigerate your desserts after you receive them. Before serving, let them sit at room temperature for about 20–25 minutes, adjusting as needed for the environment, to bring out their full flavor and texture.
Do you offer vegan, gluten-free or diabetic-friendly options?
Not at this time. Cupcake Blvd is exploring additional menu options and will share updates as they become available.
How long does it take from ordering to pickup or delivery?
Pickup and delivery times are scheduled based on availability and event needs. Once your order is confirmed, a convenient time will be coordinated with you.
What is the best way to transport cake or cupcakes?
Keep desserts on a flat surface, such as the vehicle floor or trunk, to prevent shifting. Avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat, and keep desserts in their original packaging until serving.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards are accepted. Payment instructions are provided when your order is confirmed.
