When the pandemic turned the world upside down, like so many others, Tyiesha Dunson found herself overwhelmed with fear, uncertainty and anxiety. Losing her job during the shutdowns was difficult, and she struggled to find hope during an unsettling time. In the middle of the chaos, she discovered comfort in baking.

What started as a way to cope quickly became something much bigger. A simple cupcake could do more than satisfy a sweet tooth—it could brighten someone’s day, bring comfort and create a small moment of happiness when it was needed most.

Tyiesha is the passionate baker behind Cupcake Blvd. Baking has always been close to her heart, inspired by her grandmother, a Master Chef. Many of the recipes she uses today are rooted in her grandmother’s originals, with Tyiesha’s own special touch added along the way.

As a single mother of five, Tyiesha built Cupcake Blvd with faith, determination and a dream of creating something meaningful. What began as a difficult season has grown into a business rooted in joy, connection and desserts made with care.
